Agricola Lodigiana ranks among the first companies in the market segment of the production and processing of rice from organic farming.
Regulation CE reference is the No. 834/2007, repealing the previous, is dealing organic production and labeling of organic products of both plant and animal.
Organic farming is a type of agriculture which considers the whole agricultural ecosystem, exploits the natural fertility of the soil favoring limited interventions, to promote the biodiversity of the environment in which it operates and excludes the use of synthetic products and bodies genetically modified organisms (GMO).
Why this choice
Given the growing demand of organic rice, especially from abroad, in 1998 our company has obtained the certification to produce organic rice certifying its structure according to Regulation 834/07.
The certification body chosen is CCPB company, an Italian independent auditor that guarantee the correct application of the procedures for production and control that distinguish organic products. Following this choice is born a line of products that includes packs of white rice 1 kg under vacuum of the best quality grown in Italy, a wide variety of packs of 250 gr. risottos and a large assortment of rice cakes.
Consumer guarantees
To the final consumer we can ensure protection of the environment and the health and quality of products, offering a safe and organic food.
In addition to the normal controls imposed by the legislation on organic farming, all of our organic products were analyzed at Italian laboratories certified ACCREDIA to research of pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, heavy metals, GMOs and the presence of gluten.
Accurate traceability gives additional safety on the final product.
